Registration Fee: USD 300 for foreign participants
USD 150 for students
Registration fees covers access to the conference, conference kit
with its bag and materials, 3 lunches, coffee/tea during breaks, two
banquet receptions and conference proceedings.
Payment can be made by check, money order or credit card (Visa,
MasterCard and American Express only). For those using credit card
for payment, please refer to Congress website at (http://www.pemsea.org/eascongress/reg.htm).
Interested participants has to bear their own cost to the event
which includes airfares, registration fee, hotel, meals and visa arrangement. To
smoothen the process, PEMSEA secretariat has provided an Information
Bulletin regarding these arrangement. Please refer to 'Downloadable Information"
section for brochures.
Introduction:
This event is a follow up to the East
Asian Seas Congress (EAS)
2003 which was held at Putrajaya, Malaysia. The highlight of the EAS 2003 was the endorsement of the Sustainable Development
Strategy for the Seas of East Asia (SDS-SEA) and the signing of
the Putrajaya Declaration by 11 ocean and environment ministers
from PEMSEA's 12 participating countries during the Ministerial
Forum.
