ICM PROGRAM MISSIONS

Everyday, there are always multiple-use conflicts arised from various forms of competence for various resources and spaces that is available in the coastal area. This include pollution from various sources, unsustainable resources extraction and uncontrolled habitat conversion and new land development. This happened due to a number of reasons which can be zoom into the stage of planning, legal and enforcement.

ICM is viewed at applying approaches and methodologies that will tackle the problem early at the beginning stage of development. This will include, among others  proper planning with stakeholder consultations, public awareness, education and participation and  database management for decision making process.
